About the role:
The Communications Manager is a business partner to both South East Asia (SEA) and Australia (AU) Area Managers. As a business partner, one is required to understand the business and drive communications activities to help achieve the area managers’ business objectives. In this generalist role, one is required to work closely with various stakeholders within the APAC IME regional communications team, global specialist communications teams, and the local business teams. It is the responsibility of the Communications manager to serve as a local contact point responsible for coordinating all marketing and communications activities within SEA (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines) and AU (Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea) while collaborating with the regional and global specialist communications team for different areas of expertise. As a regional communications team member, one is required to own an area of expertise and develop it for the region. The Communications Manager reports to the APAC IME Regional Communications Manager and will be based in the DNV Singapore office.
Tasks may include:
- Define, manage and coordinate all communication activities for SEA & AU, considering unique customer requirements and business goals.
- Manage the local website content management system and social media channels.
- Fuel sales by generating qualified leads through digital communication initiatives.
- Execute local marketing activities that include email campaigns, events, exhibitions, omnichannel promotional campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with the SEA and AU sales teams to support in achieving strategic targets.
- Maintain close cooperation with the APAC IME regional communications team to implement policies and procedures throughout the region.
About You:
- Degree in Marketing / Business Management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role working for a multinational company.
- Experienced in matrix structure reporting.
Competency Requirements:
- Experienced in lead generation via digital channels.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Proactive and independent self-starter.
