Assistant Finance Manager (Real Estate)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of Accounts Executive and Accounts Officers.
  • Responsible for overall accuracy and timeliness of monthly management
    accounts.
  • Review and approve GL journal entries.
  • Review financial statements, bank reconciliation and month-end
    supporting schedules including fixed assets register etc.
  • Review monthly management reports, including variance analysis
    between budget and actual results and statistics reports.
  • Act as the key liaison person with the external auditors and prepare
    statutory accounts.
  • Review GST returns and income tax computation.
  • Review property tax schedules and ensure that the correct amounts are
    recovered from tenants and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare the annual budget, forecast and 10-year projections
  • Assist with other ad-hoc tasks where necessary (e.g. prepare materials for
    Exco and Board meetings, resolving VMS issues).
  • Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy
  • Min 8 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Candidates with experience in the real estate industry will have an advantage
  • Proven ability to lead a small team
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Working Location: Raffles Place

Working Hours: Mon- Fri 8.30am - 6.00pm

Salary: Up to $7,000 + AWS + Variable bonus (average 2-3 months)
