Job Summary

The Communications Executive / Higher Executive coordinates the Company’s marketing and communication efforts. He/she liaises with internal and external audiences/stakeholders to manage marketing and communication events and channels, and is responsible for executing strategies and plans as directed. The Communications Executive / Higher Executive also implements the Company’s marketing strategy so as to create a positive impact in the areas of branding, recruitment, media and public (including customer) relations. The Communications Executive / Higher Executive is a highly- driven, organised, innovative and creative individual. He/she has strong communication and writing skills, and is able to collaborate with others to deliver marketing and communication plans.

He/she is required to have good interpersonal skills, as well as a good understanding of marketing concepts and social media skills/trends. He/she is also expected to conduct training and can be assigned to lead a team or liaise with Business Units and commercial vendors.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)

Develop Communication strategies and plans
•Develop communication strategies and plans
•Assist in creating an implementation roadmap for communication activities
•Identify effective engagement channels and platforms for target stakeholders to achieve desired ROI
•Conduct industry research to inform marketing strategies
•Manage relationships with vendors and creative agencies

Manage organisation branding and public relations
•Coordinate marketing collaterals
•Develop social media campaigns and content
•Create social media collaterals
•Adopt new digital marketing technologies
•Monitor communication channels
•Support internal communication initiatives
•Execute marketing plans across digital platform
•Manage corporate website updates
•Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Use research and insights
•Collate information, analytics and figures from various sources
•Create detailed reports to present trends

Develop network and outreach
•Develop value propositions and outreach collaterals
•Support industry events and networking
•Research brand awareness and public perceptions
•Implement and improve branding plans
•Monitor digital collateral for brand consistency
•Maintain social media and digital marketing channels
•Create and distribute press releases and media content
•Develop consistent branding collaterals such as videos etc.
•Communicate brand guidelines and gather feedback
•Enhance marketing, recruitment, media, and public relations
•Monitor company mentions and products/services
•Implement unified corporate identity in internal communications

Crisis Management
•Deploy crisis management messaging to manage crisis situations in accordance with established guidelines
•Manage and escalate crisis situation in accordance with appropriate guidelines, including escalation if required
•Track event developments and social media reactions during crisis situations

Others
•Undertake any assigned projects or duties directed by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite) is an advantage
  • Experience in digital content creation, social media management and internal communications tools (e.g Sharepoint or Viva Engage)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

  • Diploma / Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, business, marketing or related field.
  • Fresh Graduates / 1-2 years of relevant working experience in Corporate Communications or Marketing Communications.
  • Proficiency in basic MS Office Applications / Microsoft Power Platform Applications and Adobe Creative Suite or other designing software.
