
Engineering Assistant (Healthcare sector, mechanical, mechatronics) #HCL
Responsibilities:
· Maintenance and Operations: Assist in the operation, maintenance, and management of various non-clinical systems and equipment (e.g., Pneumatic Tube Systems, Automated Guided Vehicles, Food Waste Systems).
· Vendor Management: Monitor and oversee the performance of outsourced maintenance service providers and vendors to ensure service quality and adherence to maintenance schedules.
· Service Recovery: Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize disruptions in hospital operations.
· Improvement Projects: Assist in coordinating and managing system upgrades and improvements.
· Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support in diagnosing and resolving specialized system failures, recommending replacements when necessary.
· Technical Documentation: Prepare specifications, technical drawings, and project estimates for system improvements.
· Safety Oversight: Ensure that safety standards are maintained for outsourced maintenance teams.
Requirements:
· Diploma or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
· Experience in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or automation systems is preferred.
· Experience in design, installation, and maintenance of these systems is a plus.
· Ability to read technical drawings (e.g., architectural and M&E).
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM is an advantage.
· Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
· Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
· Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a high work volume.
