Introduction

Investment Services (IS) serves as a value partner by delivering end-to-end investment support services to advance investment strategies. With a focus on operational excellence and scalability through digital innovation, IS bring together all investment support services spanning from deal advisory, valuation, trade and life cycle operations, enterprise and core data management, data and analytics enablement, investment accounting and sustainability reporting to deliver business outcomes.

The Operations team manages and delivers E2E trade support and settlement activities in an efficient manner whilst ensuring effective compliance and controls. The team also manages and maintains the relationships with service providers such as banks, trading partners and other trade support services.

Responsibilities

Execute various operational service provider activities

  • Perform the paperwork and legal documentation for bank/broker /custodian onboarding/ on-going maintenance/ offboarding, ensuring that all processes are in line with regulatory and governance requirements
  • Work closely with the Public Markets and Treasury teams to onboard new banks and brokers, ensuring that all requirements are met
  • Liaise with all stakeholders for account opening and closing activities, ensuring the timely capture and update of bank/broker/custodian account data

Develop and manage operational service provider relationships

  • Proactively manage relationships with operational service providers, defining key metrics to evaluate them by and monitoring and reviewing services on a periodic basis; key activities will include:
  • Identifying a set of relevant KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure vendors and service providers
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure the service provided by vendors is in alignment with their requirements

Manage and drive continuous improvement in service quality

  • Work closely with the Operational Stewards pillar Director and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. Temasek business teams where applicable) to develop vendor SLAs and KPIs, and ensure ongoing monitoring and tracking of these to manage service provider performance

Requirements

  • Degree holder with 2 to 4 year (Associate) / 5 to 7 years (Senior Associate) of relevant working experience
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Good logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Committed and willing to learn; a team player with initiative and ownership mindset
  • Hands on, meticulous and with a keen eye for details
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office
  • Strong knowledge in data literacy is an advantage
  • Proficient in data visualisation and analytics tool such as Qlik Sense and Tableau will be an advantage
