The opportunity

CDR Singapore is seeking a Consultant to play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact strategic communications and investor relations for our clients. The day-to-day

  • Develop and execute public relations and investor relations programmes, crafting compelling narratives that enhance client reputation.
  • Lead on the development of proposals and strategic recommendations for both existing and prospective clients.
  • Research, write, and edit news releases, factsheets, speeches, PowerPoint presentations, and other communications materials for a financial audience.
  • Undertake daily media monitoring and analysis, drafting insightful synopses on key market and industry developments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the media and analysts / fund managers
  • Keep clients informed on industry trends and regulatory changes, offering timely insights that impact their business.
  • Keep abreast of current news developments and industry trends that may impact your clients businesses.
  • Participate in new business development pitches, with a focus on research and intelligence gathering.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and contribute to the CDR’s growth.

About You

  • A Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, finance, asset management, or corporate communications.
  • 3-5 years of experience in PR (agency or in-house), financial journalism, investor relations, or asset management.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, engaging content.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a track record of building relationships.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities, with a knack for managing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative thinker and problem solver with a keen eye for detail and an analytical mindset.
