About the role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Infrastructure (On-premises, Cloud and Network) and Identity Manager to join a forward-thinking team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about driving innovation and excellence in cloud and identity services. It will play a key part in shaping and supporting critical platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and scalability for the global organization. With a focus on migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud platforms and identity systems, the ideal candidate will represent these domains in key projects and discussions, contributing to the delivery of cutting-edge solutions that align with company’s strategic vision.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain critical identity and access management platforms, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
- Manage the maintenance and lifecycle of on-premises servers and network infrastructure as such time as migration to cloud resources becomes viable, adhering to governance and cost-management policies.
- Manage the configuration, deployment, and lifecycle of cloud resources, adhering to governance and cost-management policies.
- Perform proactive monitoring and updates to ensure platforms operate at peak performance.
- Represent the APAC Infrastructure and Identity Team in architecture discussions and technical projects, ensuring that solutions meet organizational goals and security requirements.
- Provide deep technical knowledge and insights to guide decision-making in architecture and operational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure and reliable cloud and identity solutions.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance existing platforms and propose innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Create strategic road maps (multi-year) for each country in the APAC region taking into consideration their unique nuisances.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve cloud and identity services.
- Configure and maintain firewall solutions to protect cloud resources and ensure secure access.
- Collaborate with networking teams to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues impacting cloud services.
- Provide operational leadership during APAC business hours, ensuring timely response to incidents, requests, and service disruptions.
- Support global operations by serving as a key escalation point for cloud and identity-related issues.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential risks and challenges, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
- Implement robust identity and access management practices, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and zero-trust principles.
- Work with security teams to enforce compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Regularly assess platforms for vulnerabilities and lead efforts to enhance their security posture.
- Develop and maintain automation workflows to streamline tasks such as user provisioning, resource management, and monitoring.
- Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and minimize errors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Support team members by sharing expertise, conducting training sessions, and fostering collaboration.
- Contribute to building a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the Global Cloud and Identity Team.
- To oversee the APAC region IT Infrastructure team including Network Engineers and System Engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with Azure or similar cloud platforms, including designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud resources
- 5+ years of experience managing identity platforms such as Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), or similar.
- 3+ years of experience implementing security best practices and managing compliance in cloud environments
- Experience working with Windows 2003+, VMware, Server Blade Technologies including Cisco UCS, Storage Technologies including Dell XtremIO.
- Experience in Cloud backup platforms such as Veema and Rubrik.
- Experience in Palo Alto products such as Cortex XDR and Prisma.
- Hands-on experience with configuring Enterprise firewalls
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex cloud and identity-related issues.
- Experience with Software Development lifecycle management is an advantage
- Experience with M365 administration
- Preferably with Microsoft certification in Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator and/or Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Ideally with certification in AWS Solutions Architect or Administrator
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders.
- Proven ability to recommend and implement cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
- Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in managing an APAC IT Infrastructure team.
