Identify potential hazards in the workplace, such as machinery, chemicals, or environmental factors. Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess safety compliance.

Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to minimize risks

Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).

Educate workers on the proper use of safety equipment and machinery

Conduct safety training programs for employees to raise awareness about workplace hazards and safe practices

Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, or near-misses to determine root causes. Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents

Evaluate and recommend safety equipment, such as personal protective equipment (PPE), fire suppression systems, and emergency exits. Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of safety systems

Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.

Report safety performance to management and regulatory authorities

Develop and implement emergency response plans for situations like fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters

Stay updated on industry trends, new regulations, and advancements in safety technology
