
Research Officer, Microneedles RNA Delivery (MRD) GIS
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our newly setup Research Group in developing microneedle-based mRNA carriers at the Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI).
Job description:
- Assist Senior Scientist in conducting research activities for developing microneedle-based mRNA carriers
- Perform microneedle sample preparation and characterization
- Conduct RT-qPCR and Western blot experiments to confirm target mRNA translation
- Assist in cell and animal experiments as necessary
- Record experimental findings and present analysis results to Senior Scientist
- Handle the procurement of equipment and consumables used for the projects and manage the inventory
- Participate and assist in routine laboratory maintenance, lab safety and general house-keeping of the lab
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Science or relevant disciplines
- Prior experience in relevant fields is not a requirement but an advantage
- Highly motivated and able to work independently after training
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Good spoken and written communication skills
