PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT
Job Description: The Purchasing Executive primarily works with the principals and internal teams to support the strategic context for the company’s products. He/she will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle to ensure both profit margin and principal’s goals are met.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare Purchase Order to vendors, check stock, availability and lead-time.
* Check supplier invoices to ensure all items are invoiced accurately.
* Keeping inventory stock of our warehouse goods and placing orders to replenish stock and inventory runs below minimum stock levels.
* Update and monitor supplier purchase breakdown with supplier.
* Update on purchase report, pending list, incoming list.
* Update and maintain price-lists of different vendors.
* Coordinate purchasing activities and services based on company’s needs.
* Negotiate purchasing agreements.
Requirements:
* Minimum “O” level, Professional Certificate, or Diploma in Procurement or related fields.
* Possess strong negotiation skills.
* Must be able to manage a given set of territory and accounts.
* Knowledge in office supplies or office automation would be an advantage.
* Proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel…)
* Good verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin are preferable
* Knowledge on Navision system would be an advantage.
