Process & Proposal Engineer (East/Waste & Water)
Job Description
- Prepare process design and review tender specifications or customers’ requirements
- Obtain quotation from vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
- Discuss and work closely with vendors to understand new technologies and effective implementation of customer applications using vendor’s information
- Discuss and work closely with customers on technical information and clarifications
- Prepare cost effective costings; commercial & technical proposals with specifications for tender submissions
- Preparation of drawings, technical data sheets and other documents for submission
- Liaise with customers on submitted proposal and potential opportunities
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and customers
- Review and verify project documents for completeness and compliance with contract requirements
- Building relationships with customers to drive repeat sales
Job Requirements
- Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge or previous experience in water treatment process and systems or environmental products is required
- Knowledge and experience on pumps, motors, valves, piping, mechanical and electrical components for oil and gas industry is added advantage
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- General computer knowledge (MS word, excel, power point, MS outlook) is essential
- Willing to travel for site visits, sales presentation to customers and technical clarification meeting.
