Dental Technician (Ceramist)
Dental Lab Ceramist/Ceramic technician
Requirement:
-Prefer candidates with Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Dental Technology
-Suitable amount of experience in a Dental Laboratory (prefably more than 5 years)
-Able to work 5.5days (half day on Saturday, not required to work on Public Holidays/Company closure days)
Main job scope:
-read and comprehend job order forms by dentists
-follow specific instructions from doctors to create aesthetically pleasing and functional products
-complete full ceramic workflow for crowns and bridges (i.e, fitting, trimming, cementation, build up, firing and glazing)
Incentive based:
-complete ceramic tasks per tooth/unit of restoration, after the first 100 units are fulfilled there is an incentive for every other unit produced per month
Others:
-Support and perform any other tasks as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
-Work within a legal and regulatory framework within the laboratory.
-Comply with workplace safety and health policies and procedures.
-Inform the person in charge whenever there are any discrepancies.
-Conduct quality checks for all jobs performed.
