Job Responsibilities include but not limited to

The core responsiblity in training and delivery of courses assigned, trainers management, curriculum development and business development.

Training and Delivery of Courses

  • Conduct training of WSQ and non-WSQ courses as and when required;
  • Ensure the classes and assessment are conducted punctually;
  • Ensure quality assurance and service standards are met during training delivery and assessment;
  • Ensure all safety aspects, adhoc requests from trainees / customers, classroom and workshop in good condition / cleanliness are adhere to;
  • Review of WSQ and non-WSQ modules as and when required;
  • Translation of courseware materials as and when required;
  • Conduct environmental scan on emerging trends impacting the delivery of current/ future WSQ and non-WSQ courses; and
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Maintain inventory stock in workshop

  • Assist in the good maintenance and up-keeping of workshop and training inventories

Support sales and marketing

  • Support Sales in companies’ visits, sales promotion and competitors’ analysis;
  • Support in organizing seminars and events management; and
  • Promote ASPRI-IPI courses to trainees.

Customer Service

  • Assist in handling enquiries from members, public, corporate clients, associate trainers and trainees; and
  • Assist in market intelligence gathering

Suppliers Management

  • Managing and constantly monitoring the performance of outsourcing partners / vendors, to ensure good service standards.

Quality Management

  • Ensure compliance and monitoring of in-house standard operation procedures; and
  • Ensure compliance and monitoring of the requirements imposed by the accreditation bodies.

Key Job Competencies

  • Diploma / Degree, preferably engineering field, with at least 3 years of stand-up training experience.
  • Possess recognised ACTA certificate and a certified Trainer with other training provider/s.
  • Attain WSH Level C certification will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of WSQ Training Framework & Skills Connect system.
  • Knowledge of MOM Accreditation Training Providers Scheme / or other government agencies training scheme (SCDF, NEA, etc).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Possess a positive attitude, mature and highly initiative.
  • Resourceful, ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT applications.
  • Able to work on Sundays when tasked to.

Good to Have

  • Possess Diploma in Adult Continuing Education (DACE)
  • Able to conduct courses in multi-languages due to the diverse pool of trainees.
