Business Development Manager (Cloud Solutions)
Our Client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding Revenue team. In this role, you will collaborate with Partnership, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to generate sales leads and drive business growth.
You will play a pivotal role in selling our cloud platform solutions (preferably SaaS or IT-related), leveraging your extensive network in both Government and Enterprise sectors. This is an individual contributor role, not a team management position.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a robust business development pipeline by proactively identifying new opportunities and engaging with key prospects.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan, prioritizing accounts to maximize sales potential.
- Establish and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers across customer organizations.
- Understand and address customer challenges, pressures, and priorities to effectively position the Company cloud solutions to meet their business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management in pricing, tender, and proposal reviews to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience in the cloud, SaaS, or IT industry.
- Proven track record of success in B2B or B2G sales, with a strong network of established connections in both Government and Enterprise sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain senior client relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Strong empathy and listening skills to understand customer pain points and provide tailored solutions.
- Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A team player with a willingness to contribute to the success of the team and its collective goals.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, or Sales).
- Singaporeans ONLY
- Fluency in Mandarin is preferred to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and vendors.
Good to Have:
- Extensive database of contacts and a well-established network within the Government and Enterprise sectors.
- Ability to perform independently in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.
