Our client is a global MNC from chemical manufacturing industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an E&I Maintenance Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high-performing team. They are located in the West.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute routine, ad-hoc, and shutdown maintenance tasks safely and efficiently within the planned timeframe and budget.
  • Supervise and mentor senior personnel and supervisors to enhance team capabilities.
  • Review and optimize maintenance plans, critical equipment lists, and work execution documents.
  • Develop and update maintenance procedures and work instructions to align with operational needs and efficiency.
  • Analyze data from critical equipment to recommend preventive measures and ensure proper documentation in compliance with ISO standards.
  • Support the planning and coordination of shutdown maintenance, including statutory equipment inspections.
  • Provide technical expertise and solutions to internal teams and external vendors.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues and identify effective countermeasures.
  • Propose and implement improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
  • Oversee engineering projects and minor modifications related to electrical and instrumentation systems in assigned plant.
  • Conduct technical training and toolbox briefings for employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and continuous improvement projects.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned when required.

Requirements

  • Min Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Min of 3 years of experience in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC and packaging systems.
