- Supervise technical Superintendents during emergencies or critical situations, provide guidance on the appropriate response, and ensure effective communication and coordination among the team.
- Manage the technical aspects of our fleet, including supervising daily maintenance and repair operations, budgeting, survey schedules, onboard general assessments of vessels, inspections, and docking.
- Engage technical Superintendents in strategic discussions to leverage their insights on technical operations, fleet performance, and future challenges, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Conduct technical compliance audits and investigations on defects/failures regularly to ensure conformance with safety and operational standards.
Requirements:
- CoC Class 1 certified
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Familiar with ISM/ISPS
- Able to travel on short notice.
