Responsibilities

  • Provide expert logistics and systems consultancy to internal teams and external clients.
  • Lead high-quality project management and implementations within the IT Contract Logistics team, supporting company operations and client needs.
  • Oversee application environment deployments (e.g. WMS, TMS), coordinating with support teams, preparing deployment instructions, and aligning with business units for seamless execution.
  • Conduct detailed project work, including business analysis, system configuration, EDI/API mapping, product enhancement requests, and IT solution design tailored to business and client goals.
  • Foster strong, ongoing relationships with customers and service providers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Diagnose and resolve application errors through thorough analysis.
  • Collaborate with customers, business units, and end users to gather requirements, evaluate options, and ensure robust testing with minimal defects.
  • Design, document, and manage requirements and change processes, ensuring clarity and stakeholder buy-in.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • More than 8 years of IT experience, with a focus on SDLC, system development, or analysis
  • Logistics industry knowledge and expertise with WMS/TMS systems.
  • Proven experience in Tier 2 WMS implementation and SQL.
  • Solid understanding of modern automation technologies (e.g., RPA, BI, warehouse automation such as ASRS, Conveyor, PTL).
  • Good to have skillsets (Power Automate).
  • Proficiency with process or workflow modeling tools.
  • Strong business acumen, customer service focus, and familiarity with Agile delivery models.
  • Knowledge of specification methods (e.g., Use Case Modeling, Data Modeling, Interfaces).
  • Experience in 3PL from a systems and operational perspective.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., C++, .NET, Java) and optimized SQL query writing.
  • Quick learner with an aptitude for adopting new technologies (e.g., REST/SOAP/XML services, mobile apps, cloud integration).
