We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with knowledge in highway and drainage engineering. In this role, you will design and deliver diverse infrastructure projects, from drainage systems to large-scale civil works, ensuring the creation of sustainable, resilient, and efficient solutions for our clients.
You will be involved in some of Singapore's most significant projects, contributing to LTA projects, climate adaptation strategies, and coastal development efforts.
On a daily basis you will be involved in below activities:
- Develop comprehensive drainage designs for transportation projects, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analysis to assess water flow patterns and drainage system performance.
- Evaluate existing drainage systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions to optimize water flow, mitigate flooding risks, and protect infrastructure.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate drainage system feasibility, risks, and environmental impacts.

Furthermore, you should have:
- At least 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with solid practical knowledge in civil engineering design and implementation. Experience in managing drainage-focused projects is beneficial.
- Extensive experience in drainage system design for transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, and bridges specifically for LTA and PUB.
- Proficiency in drainage design software (e.g., HydroCAD, StormCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, etc.) and other engineering design tools.
- Solid knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, and relevant environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with local and international standards would be beneficial, including AASHTO, FHWA, and other related codes and guidelines
- Proficient in communicating with clients, contractors, and project teams in English.
