Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cloud Platform Strategy and Vision:
    Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for improving the cloud platform to support development teams effectively.

    Work closely with software engineers, platform engineers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet development needs.

  3. Technical Leadership:
    Leverage your software and platform engineering background to guide technical decisions and ensure the platform is built with best practices.
    Advocate for modern cloud-native technologies, tools, and processes (e.g., containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code).
  4. Developer Experience (DevEx) Focus:
    Streamline the development process by improving tooling, automation, and self-service capabilities on the cloud platform.
    Ensure the platform provides a seamless onboarding experience for new developers and reduces friction in day-to-day workflows.
  5. Governance and Compliance:
    Collaborate with governance teams to establish policies that balance security and compliance with developer agility.
    Implement monitoring, logging, and auditing mechanisms to maintain visibility and control over the platform.
  6. Stakeholder Management:
    Act as the primary point of contact for all cloud platform-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
  7. Metrics and Continuous Improvement:
    Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the cloud platform improvements.
    Continuously gather feedback from developers and stakeholders to iterate and improve the platform.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering, with a strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent).
Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role, managing complex technical projects and delivering results.
Deep knowledge of cloud-native technologies, including containers, Kubernetes, serverless computing, and microservices architecture.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Experience working with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) teams to implement secure and compliant cloud solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
