Nereus Subsea is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts and HR Assistant to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will manage finance and accounting operations while assisting with HR-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance & Accounting:
- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Perform full accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets.
- Prepare monthly management reports and conduct analytical reviews of financials and profitability.
- Post all journal entries, including prepayments, accruals, management adjustments, and reclassifications.
- Prepare and review monthly Balance Sheets and Bank Reconciliation statements.
- Ensure timely statutory reporting related to audit, tax, and GST matters.
- Maintain compliance with accounting, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries as needed.
- Manage monthly debtor balance collection.
- Prepare quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgets.
- Process payment vouchers and manage payments.
- Handle other ad hoc financial assignments as required.
Human Resources Support:
- Assist with HR documentation, including employee records, contracts, and payroll support.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding procedures.
- Support HR policies, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and local regulations.
- Assist in handling employee queries related to HR and payroll matters.
- Manage HR-related administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting and HR.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
