Nereus Subsea is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts and HR Assistant to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will manage finance and accounting operations while assisting with HR-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting:

  • Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
  • Perform full accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and conduct analytical reviews of financials and profitability.
  • Post all journal entries, including prepayments, accruals, management adjustments, and reclassifications.
  • Prepare and review monthly Balance Sheets and Bank Reconciliation statements.
  • Ensure timely statutory reporting related to audit, tax, and GST matters.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries as needed.
  • Manage monthly debtor balance collection.
  • Prepare quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Process payment vouchers and manage payments.
  • Handle other ad hoc financial assignments as required.

Human Resources Support:

  • Assist with HR documentation, including employee records, contracts, and payroll support.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding procedures.
  • Support HR policies, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and local regulations.
  • Assist in handling employee queries related to HR and payroll matters.
  • Manage HR-related administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting and HR.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
