
Regional Accountant (Manufacturing MNC)
Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Industrial Machinery industry. They are looking for a Regional Accountant to assist their team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in the Central – easily accessible.
Responsibilities of Regional Accountant:
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual account closings, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting.
- Coordinate budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning.
- Provide financial guidance on strategies and initiatives with accounting implications.
- Ensure transactions comply with IFRS and support audit processes for timely sign-off.
- Handle statutory reporting, including GST, tax compliance, and transfer pricing documentation.
- Improve accounting processes, document workflows, and maintain internal control policies.
- Monitor accounts payable/receivable, safeguard funds, and ensure accurate financial records.
- Administer financial systems and align reporting with business needs.
- Support overseas entities with billing, tax, and financial operations.
- Compile and consolidate financial accounts and stay updated on accounting legislation.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent qualifications/certifications
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of full spectrum accounting experience, with regional exposure and similar setting
- Experience in taxation, budgeting & forecasting and consolidation is required
