Position SummaryThe position will be based in Singapore, and responsible for further developing, building, and fostering relationships with a subset of key prospect and partner firms across Asia. This joint mandate includes managing existing and developing new relationships and fundraising opportunities across the Asian submarkets. The individual will be responsible for identifying new distribution opportunities with global/regional/local banks, Asset Managers, Wealth Managers, Distribution Platforms and Family.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include, among others:
  • Achieve key Performance Metrics set forth by the Head of Asia Private Wealth. Primary responsibility is to drive sales to achieve annual growth and fundraising goals for Carlyle Private Wealth
  • Develop, build and foster relationships with key stakeholders at partner firms - Responsible for key relationships at partner firms and developing a deep understanding of our client's needs. This includes products, structures, fees and industry trends
  • Develop and manage relationships with Centers of Influence (COI) at all our key wealth management clients and prospects while maintaining a long-term business perspective and a consultative approach
  • Actively prospect existing and emerging firms to enhance Carlyle's distribution partner list
  • Create tailored client deliverables to promote the Firm's capabilities
  • Work with various internal teams (Central Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Fund Management, Tax, Accounting, etc.) to ensure client needs are met
  • Participate in client meetings to present the Firm's funds, products and capabilities
  • Track and monitor key business metrics across the footprint
  • Assist in the development sales strategy and product launch plans for the Asia
  • Focus on cultivating, prospecting and increasing Carlyle products across Family Office communities in Asian Key markets
  • When applicable, attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide information on market and creative trends
  • Execute on KPIs and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) - These will be developed by CPW leadership and shared broadly with Carlyle senior management
QualificationsEducation & Certificates
  • Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic background.
  • Having or pursuing the CAIA designation is advantageous.
  • Required regulatory licenses in Singapore.
Professional Experience
  • At least 2-5 years of financial services industry experience with a focus on alternatives sales origination.
  • Strong network of relationships and fundraising experiences with Greater China & Southeast Asia and Australia markets.
Competencies and Attributes
  • Excellent sales, communication, organizational and leadership skills including strong aptitude for interfacing with executives at our partner firms.
  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively within the regional sales team.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
  • Chinese language skills
