As an experienced program manager, who is a self-starter with outstanding time management skills, you have a great attention to detail and have seen many projects from conception to completion. - 5+ years experience as Localization Project Manager, with 2+ years vendor management experience a plus.
- Work with key digital content teams on localization of content for the eCommerce experience on platforms.
- An understanding of localization practices and a dedication for evangelizing these practices.
- Excellent analytical, planning, execution and follow-up skills; and will coordinate with other Localization Project and Program Managers to create consistent processes and practices.
- Lead localization projects from beginning to end, using our in-house translation management software (WorldServer) and translation memory tools.
- Work with both internal and external specialist teams.
- Act as point of contact for urgent localization requests coming out of the regional teams; and demonstrated success in managing multiple projects, priorities and vendors concurrently.
- Lead and direct localization vendors, giving them clear and concise guidelines on eCommerce requirements.
- Oversee Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) projects during engineering release cycles, campaigns, programs and new product introductions.
- Work effectively with others in a constantly evolving environment and under time constrained launch schedules; and effectively lead difficult decisions and conflicting points of view.
- Build reporting for localization functions within the digital content team.
- Identify and communicate innovative ideas to improve processes and performance.
- Have a working understanding of web technology tools such as XML, HTML, Photoshop, and varying digital asset types.
- Localization budget management and vendor-side experience is a plus
- Previous website and/or e-commerce localization experience
- Project Management qualification/certification a plus.
