Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors to define project requirements.
  • Oversee the procurement of HVAC equipment, materials, and subcontractor services.

  • Track expenses, control costs, and implement corrective measures when needed.
  • Approve purchase orders, invoices, and project-related financial transactions.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and other relevant standards.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high-performance HVAC and ventilation systems.
  • Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance evaluations before project handover.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, contracts, permits, and compliance reports.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status.
  • Document lessons learned for continuous process improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical ventilation, or MEP project management.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning processes.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial acumen to manage budgets and project costs effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (ASHRAE, SMACNA, LEED, local codes).
