We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Actuarial Services.
Principal Responsibilities
- Support experience monitoring, assumption setting, impact/sensitivity testing in the Actuarial Services Department to support business needs
- Enhance and improve existing controls and processes
- Support monthly and quarterly delivery of management information for internal stakeholders
- Support other actuarial projects and onboarding of new products
- Work closely with the group office and external Actuarial consultants, ensuring adherence to the HSBC guidelines and statutory regulations
- 6 to 8 years of Life Actuarial experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently, work well with others as interaction with other departments may be required
- Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude
- Experience in SQL/Python and/or Prophet is a plus
