Role Overview:
As a Technical Solutions Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing, supporting, and optimizing our banking and capital markets systems. This position requires strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of financial products, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and propose tailored solutions to address operational challenges.
- Develop and maintain software solutions using technologies such as Java, .Net, and scripting languages.
- Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Provide level 2 application support and troubleshoot production issues to maintain system stability.
- Implement and enhance application monitoring tools for performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and DevOps engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices in software development and delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the banking and capital markets domain with knowledge of financial assets and trade lifecycle.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .Net, and scripting (Python, Shell, PL/SQL).
- Familiarity with Calypso or other financial systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to manage incidents and deliver resolutions promptly.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible.
- ITIL certification is a strong advantage.
