Senior Business Analyst (Payments)

Business Analysis

• Engage business and operations stakeholders for functional requirements, analysis and documentation (URD, RTM, Test Scenarios, etc.)
• Review, validate, prioritize and plan stakeholder enhancements and requirements
• Provide viable and innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency, standardization, user experience and deliver business initiatives
• Engage and communicate with stakeholders (Heads of Department, Head Office, Regional, internal IT teams, Business & Process Owners and vendors)
• Review and signoff artefacts and solutions provided by technical teams and vendors
• Provide SIT, UAT, regression testing and rehearsal testing support
• Conduct user training and workshops
• Ensure successful implementation of solution

2. Project Management Support

• Support project feasibility study
• Define work breakdown structure and tasks for Requirements Definition, User Acceptance Test, and Migration Phase
• Support Change Management and control scope creep
• Support Risk & Issue Management
• Support project execution and solution delivery within budget, and schedule.
• Support Stakeholder Management

3. BAU Management

• Provide timely support to users during incidents, change requests, enquires, and BCP exercise

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information System, Computer Science or Applied Science with min. 8 years of related work experience
• Min. 5 years of business analysis experience in a bank of financial institution.
• Experience with Payments / Remittance systems, SWIFT ISO20022 CBPR+, SWIFT MT Standards, Clearing schemes (ACH, RTGS, RT) across Asia Pacific region
• Good understanding and appreciation of Payment Operational workflows, Business operating model and operational compliance & risk management
• Knowledge in Cash Management Products, Channels, Core Banking / Accounting, AML Screening and FX/Treasury
• A proactive team player who is result driven
• Possess strong stakeholder management skill
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Project Management certification is a plus
• Hands-on experience in database querying and scripting
• Familiar with Java and web-based applications, and understanding of robust application design principles
• Good understanding of system interface protocols
• Good understanding of infrastructure and system resiliency
