Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production planners to align supplier forecasts and ensure a steady flow of materials.
- Coordinate with global vendor planners to monitor shipment adherence and resolve any discrepancies.
- Track and manage supplier purchase orders to maintain timely material availability and prevent delays.
- Utilize SAP to oversee material stock levels and handle transactions efficiently.
- Partner with logistics, warehouse, and production teams to plan, expedite, and facilitate smooth material movements.
- Ensure suppliers comply with established procedures, delivery schedules, and service requirements.
- Develop strategies to optimize material inventory and achieve inventory control targets.
- Support new program launches through effective material coordination and planning.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in materials management within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in SAP, strong analytical capabilities, and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional coordination and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills for managing supplier and team interactions.
