We are seeking a skilled Functional Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The role involves analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver functional solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives.
  2. Document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  3. Solution Design:Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
  4. Develop high-level solutions aligned with organizational goals and technology roadmaps.
  5. Collaboration & Communication:Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
  6. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather insights and validate solutions.
  7. Testing & Validation:Assist in defining test plans and scenarios to validate that the solutions meet business requirements.
  8. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues or concerns raised by users.
  9. Change Management & Implementation:Collaborate with business and technical teams to plan and execute process or system changes.
  10. Ensure stakeholders are prepared for new operational processes and technology components.
  11. Continuous Improvement:Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  12. Propose enhancements that drive efficiency, scalability, and business value.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst, preferably in banking
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to map them to technology solutions.
  • Experience in documenting requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Visio, and project management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of trade finance
