Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute the site's Mechanical Integrity (MI) Program.
  • Develop and maintain an inventory of equipment covered under the MI Program.
  • Conduct risk assessments to prioritize equipment.
  • Collect and upload historical asset documentation and inspection data into MAXIMO.
  • Create, review, and update Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) within MAXIMO based on inspection outcomes.
  • Plan and schedule inspection and testing tasks in accordance with established procedures and minimum requirements.
  • Manage and verify inspection data, including Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) results.
  • Adjust program activities and corrective measures using data from ITPs.
  • Evaluate deficiencies, ensure fitness-for-service assessments, and create corrective action plans.
  • Record anomalies and manage repair or maintenance schedules in MAXIMO.
  • Ensure repairs meet required standards and document maintenance completion.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in Mechanical Integrity or Inspection roles within industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemicals, or oil & gas.
  • Familiarity with mechanical integrity regulations and industry standards.

Skills

  • Expertise in inspection techniques, NDE methods, and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) strategies.
  • Proficient in maintenance and asset management software, such as MAXIMO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a data-driven approach.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Certifications in API 510/570/580/653 are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a hands-on approach.
  • GMP experience is a plus.
