Our client, a leading chinese semicon company expanding its operations in Singapore, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their newly set-up team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the finance function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations to ensure compliance with both Group and local reporting guidelines.
  • Review and validate accounting entries in SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness for monthly and quarterly closings.
  • Prepare and deliver local GAAP reports to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the coordination of the annual audit process.
  • Ensure timely completion of tax filings, including monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions, and related party transaction reports.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS and US GAAP; familiarity with the financial accounting and reporting practices of both Singapore and China is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore tax laws and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, with strong communication skills; proficiency in both English and Chinese to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders
  • Adaptable with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving in a changing environment.
