To provide technical support to IT Administrators and users at the sites, providing expertise for server and client infrastructure, software, security, telecoms and the network.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT Administrators and contractors to provide technical expertise across PCs, laptops, servers, Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, security, and networks. Ensure high levels of user service and satisfaction.
  • Provide L1/L2 technical support to users and be able to resolve/troubleshoot software, hardware, and network problems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and share knowledge globally to prevent rework.
  • Lead and execute site and regional IT projects, including system upgrades, cloud implementations, network improvements, and app development.
  • Support and innovate local systems and databases for processes like safety incident reporting, audits, and workflow management.
  • Educate users on IT policies, influencing adherence when needed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in related field and Cisco Associate certified (CCNA) or, with proven strong experience in network & server (Croda is using Azure cloud, Windows Server 2016, 2022 Microsoft 365: Active Directory).
  • Minimum 7 years of technical IT Support (level 2) experience, including remote desktop/ remote user support for regional users, end-points, on-premise & cloud servers, networks.
  • Experienced working in MNCs or large SMEs with over 200 users is a must.
  • Good to have: Experience in Desktop support and applications support such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Intune and SharePoint design;
  • Managed firewall set up and CCTV.
  • Familiar with cyber security principles and best practices
  • Certificates: Microsoft Fundamentals (eg. Azure Fundamentals or M365 Fundamentals); ITIL v4 Foundations; Cisco CCNA
  • Show interest in and be aware of latest trends in IT.
