BIM Coordinator (ACMV)
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for ACMV systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Generate detailed 3D models for ACMV systems, including ductwork, piping, and ventilation components, using software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts between ACMV systems and other building systems using tools like Navisworks or BIM 360.
Ensure all BIM models comply with industry and company standards, as well as project-specific requirements.
Act as the primary point of contact for ACMV-related BIM coordination.
Train and mentor junior team members in BIM processes and best practices.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably in ACMV or MEP fields.
BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional or equivalent).
Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, including ductwork, piping, and ventilation design principles.
