Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and work closely with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) to develop and implement the company's Data Strategy for decision making purposes
- Develop, review and update data-related policies to ensure alignment with the national data policies
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the company platform for data request to facilitate data requests by staff.
- Put in place protocol that complies with relevant data access, sharing, and security policies.
- Serve as a point-of-contact to liaise with other institutions and external parties for data request as well as to contribute to the group analytics and digitalization effort.
- Develop and implement proper data assets management standard operating procedures and workflows across the Data Life Cycle from data acquisition, fusion, access and distribution, to disposal
- Collaborate with the relevant departments/units to build staff literacy, competency, capabilities, and knowledge in safe, efficient, and effective data exploitation and management on various platforms
- Oversee the secretariat support for departmental and hospital working committees to support digital transformation agenda and build communities of practice to share knowledge and best practices
- Lead change management, engagements, and communications with different levels of stakeholders, on issues pertaining to data management, data sharing, and data exploitation.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computing in Information Systems, Information Management or Management Information Systems or related fields
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in business data management and governance with experience in developing data strategy
- Experience in handling compliance reviews or overseeing data management / IT systems is preferred
- Experience in data analytics is an added advantage
- Possess strong data and technological knowledge, covering recent topics such as data governance, data policies and data domains.
