Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support and work closely with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) to develop and implement the company's Data Strategy for decision making purposes
  • Develop, review and update data-related policies to ensure alignment with the national data policies
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the company platform for data request to facilitate data requests by staff.
  • Put in place protocol that complies with relevant data access, sharing, and security policies.
  • Serve as a point-of-contact to liaise with other institutions and external parties for data request as well as to contribute to the group analytics and digitalization effort.
  • Develop and implement proper data assets management standard operating procedures and workflows across the Data Life Cycle from data acquisition, fusion, access and distribution, to disposal
  • Collaborate with the relevant departments/units to build staff literacy, competency, capabilities, and knowledge in safe, efficient, and effective data exploitation and management on various platforms
  • Oversee the secretariat support for departmental and hospital working committees to support digital transformation agenda and build communities of practice to share knowledge and best practices
  • Lead change management, engagements, and communications with different levels of stakeholders, on issues pertaining to data management, data sharing, and data exploitation.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computing in Information Systems, Information Management or Management Information Systems or related fields
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in business data management and governance with experience in developing data strategy
  • Experience in handling compliance reviews or overseeing data management / IT systems is preferred
  • Experience in data analytics is an added advantage
  • Possess strong data and technological knowledge, covering recent topics such as data governance, data policies and data domains.
