Accept ClosePress Tab to Move to Skip to Content LinkSearch JobsJob DescriptionApply nowJob Title: Personal Assistant to the Chief Data OfficerPosting Start Date: 25/02/2025Job Description:Job DescriptionThe Personal Assistant to the Chief Data Officer (PA-CDO) helps the University achieve its strategic objectives by performing essential executive duties for the NUS Chief Data Officer (CDO) and providing day-to-day administrative support for the Office of Data & Intelligence (ODI).Core responsibilities on behalf of CDO include:
  • Managing CDO's communication via phone, email, and in-person conversations
  • Initiating, scheduling, and coordinating CDO's appointments, travel arrangements, and events
  • Preparation of presentation materials and executive briefings in advance of C-Suite meetings
  • Support for department budgeting, resource allocation, procurement, and reporting processes
  • Facilitate and monitor change management processes initiated by CDO throughout the department
As a coordinator of cross-team activities and interacting with external partners, PA-CDO is fully integrated into ODI. Department responsibilities include:
  • Support for ODI's budgeting, resource allocation, procurement, and reporting processes
  • Executive support for data services such as institutional reporting, surveys, and data gathering
  • Liaising with internal and external parties and partners
  • Registering and updating department-level initiatives and agreements
RequirementsSuccessful candidate should have the following qualifications and capabilities:Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field
Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong and organised communication skills with the ability to distil complex information into simple language
  • Excited by learning and working with IT applications, data, and numbers in a data-driven decision-making organisation
