
System Engineer (CCTV)
Job Description
Mandatory Skills: CCTV knowledge, Electrical & Cabling (Power & Network)
Preferred Skills: Contractor supervision, construction site safety, issue troubleshooting, mechanical and civil works knowledge
Brief Job Description The ideal candidate should possess:
Diploma in Information Technology, Electrical / Electronic, Information Systems or equivalent discipline
1-3 years of relevant experience in security surveillance hardware and software administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Good knowledge and hands on experience working with software and hardware systems in the area of:
- IP CCTV System
- Perimeter Protection System (PPS)
- Physical Security Information Management System (PSIM)
- Video Management System (VMS)
- Audiovisual System
- Analyze, plan, implementation (network, system, infra, applications), testing, and management of a state-of-the-art integrated perimeter, video surveillance and video analytics security system.
- Work closely with team members to meet client's service delivery level agreement
- Able to work and coordinates with contractors and clients
- Works with partners to diagnose and rectify technical issues as well as support preventive and corrective maintenance
- Understands technical documentation, installation manuals, system drawings etc.
- Able to read and orientate construction drawing, floor plan, etc.
- Continuously looking to improve processes as well as introduce new technologies for better security and greater customer satisfaction
- Proficient in electrical power and good knowledge on power cabling works for on-site works
- Understands technical documentation, manuals, as-built system drawings etc.
- Works independently without supervision and communicates well with team members, partners, and clients
- Assists maintenance team to ensure System Availability and Reliability meets customers requirement
- Carries out any other technical related duties that may be required
- With knowledge on construction site safety and regulatory requirements
