Key Responsibilities
- Planning and executing merchandising strategies to optimize product assortments and maximize sales and profitability.
- Analyzing market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to make informed decisions on product selection, pricing, and inventory management.
- Developing and managing merchandising budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to drive sales and meet financial targets.
- Consistently makes customer-centric recommendations and business decisions across scope of responsibility. Understands customer behavior across channels, or within relevant channels (for example, demand trends, buying behaviors, consumption patterns around SKUs). Anticipates customer trends and influences demand through deep understanding of customer needs and depth of category vision.
- Developing and implementing promotional strategies and campaigns to drive customer engagement and increase footfall.
- Coordinating with logistic department on delivery schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Execute product training, presentation and visual merchandising to create compelling and attractive displays that enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Monitoring competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in the market and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.
- Manages the planning and forecasting for future merchandise buys based on sell-thru and current inventory levels.
- Incorporates financial reporting and budget requirements into merchandise plans and recommendations.
- Establishes systematic methods and tools to monitor stock-to-sale ratios and sales trend data to develop forecasts by product category, line and locations.
- Responsible for weekly/monthly financial perspective for categories, highlighting business drivers, opportunities, key action plans, and timelines. Provides seasonal and event analysis and reporting for key timeframes.
- Oversee and co-ordinate with Outlet teams to develop business plan, sales forecast in relation to the companys objective.
- Establish merchandise sales plan for the outlets and maintain accurate sales plan during the buy.
- Work with Outlet teams to ensure stock efficiency for markdown return.
- Oversee the stock and sales performance and recommend actions to Outlet teams to improve sales and profitability.

Knowledge/Work Experience
- Minimum 3 years of similar experiences with analytical/strategic responsibilities Retail industry experience a plus.
- Possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using SAP.
- Strong written and spoken communication, listening, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel (eg. Formulas, Pivot tables, V-Lookup etc) is a must.
- Highly motivated individual with a will to succeed.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Strong organizational skills & ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Independent and a quick learner.
- Willingness to work as a team and take on duties.
