MHA Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC) serves to increase efficiency and improve customer experience in financial services of the ministry and the Home Team Departments (HTDs). The Invoice Processing Team is responsible for supporting the payments deliverables of FSSC with timely and accurate processing of all payments, in particular invoices submitted by vendors.What you will be working on:Key Responsibilities • Responsible and accountable for the accuracy and prompt payment of invoices submitted by suppliers, including credit notes routed for processing. • Responsible and accountable for ensuring the consistent application of the prevailing policies on invoice processing. • Responsible and accountable for ensuring the consistent application of MHA's Chart of Accounts in the expenditure. • Participate in business improvement projects by assisting in reviewing the existing work processes and leveraging on user feedback to reap efficiency gain. • Manage customer queries relating to invoice processing.What we are looking for:a) Experiences • Prior experience in a similar role will be an advantage • Prior experience in using SAP will be an advantage • Prior experience in applying data analytics will be an advantage • Prior experience working in a shared services environment will be an advantage b) Attributes • A dedicated team member • Meticulous with an eye for detail • Strong with numbers and analytical • High comfort level with applying technology in daily work • Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills to engage wide spectrum of internal and external stakeholders All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
