Job Description:
- Oversee the full spectrum of a designated product category, including inventory levels, pricing accuracy,
- product displays, and sales analysis. Optimize the use of the sales floor to maximize product visibility
- and sales opportunities.
- Actively participate in achieving sales targets and driving the growth of the assigned product category.
- Analyze sales trends and recommend strategies and initiatives to boost sales and address performance
- gaps. Implement initiatives to optimize category performance in alignment with overall store objectives.
- ? Collaborate with Merchandising Managers and suppliers to address issues related to Local Sales
- Merchandising (LSM) or promotional activities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively resolving escalated customer inquiries orcomplaints. Create and maintain an environment where every customer has a positive and enjoyable
- shopping experience at the retail outlet.
- Conduct training sessions for Retail Assistants on category-specific knowledge and retail outlets
- procedures to equip them with the skills and expertise needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to Retail Assistants to improve individual and team performance,
- ensuring tasks are completed to expected standards while maintaining adherence to store policies,
- procedures, and company rules.
- Assist the RM / ARM in creating effective staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage, supporting labour
- cost control by optimizing the allocation of manpower resources.
- Perform cashiering duties as required, ensuring accurate and efficient transaction processing.
- Step in to perform the duties of Retail Assistant as needed, including tasks like housekeeping, product
- labeling, merchandising and provide assistance during peak hours to maintain operational efficiency.
- ? Process purchase orders, stock receipt reports, and other required documentation accurately and on
- time. Maintain organized and up-to-date records for the department.
- Assist in conducting daily morning briefings to communicate goals, updates, and expectations to the
- team, ensuring alignment with store objectives and daily operational priorities.
- Participate in and help coordinate stock-taking exercises to ensure accuracy and accountability in
- inventory management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the RM / ARM
Requirement:
- Minimum qualification of GCE 'O' Level or a Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, ora related field is generally required.
- Additional training or certification in retail management or customer service is advantageous.
- Proven experience in retail sales or a related field is a must, with at least 2 years of retail experience in a
- supervisory role.
- Highly passionate about the retail industry and adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and available to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs or seasonal demands.
