An MNC in the commodities industry is currently looking for a Trade Operation Specialist to join their expanding team.

Reporting to the Manager, the incumbent will be responsible mainly to handle trade operations daily tasks for dry bulk commodities. The job scope include oordinating vessel logistics, fulfilling shipment requirements, handling Letters of Credit (LC) and liaise with banks, preparing invoices, preparing and verifying shipping documents, and tracking cash flow, shipments, and demurrage or dispatch claims.

The role also include risk management by reviewing contracts, monitoring credit limits, and addressing potential transaction risks, while maintaining compliance with policies.

Successful candidates can expect to work in a fast-paced work environment with a great cohesive team for the established organization.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimally Diploma
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Dry Bulk Commodities Trade operations
  • Strong knowledge in L/C and UCP600
  • Software proficiency in SAP or Commodities Trading Systems
  • Experience with bulk shipping, laycan, and demurrage
