As the Manager, Real Estate, you will play a pivotal role in driving our real estate strategy for our business expansion in Singapore, aligned with the overall FPG objectives and growth plans.

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven real estate professional with deep knowledge in the Real Estate landscape in the Retail industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing suitable tenants, managing a retail real estate portfolio, ensuring we secure the most favorable locations and cost-efficient lease portfolio to achieve our business objectives. The role involves prospecting and building relationships with potential tenants, negotiating with Landlords to drive optimal outcomes for the organization and management of various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the identification, evaluation, execution and disposition of retail store locations that align with our brand strategy and market expansion goals.
  • Partner and collaborate closely with Business Units to establish site selection criteria.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships through direct engagement with landlords, real estate brokers and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage new and existing leases, including lease renewals by proactively identifying opportunities for renegotiation or lease termination, managing internal and external stakeholders interest.
  • Securing favorable lease terms to improve occupancy cost and OP targets.
  • Drive tenant acquisition efforts. Prospect, source and secure suitable tenants for the desired space.
  • Arrange and attend to potential tenants for site visits or viewings.
  • Evaluate the prospective tenant’s proposal to make recommendations to approving parties for acceptance.
  • Negotiate and finalise rental and other terms and conditions with potential tenants and working with internal stakeholders to project manage.
  • Facilitate site and preparation work for the business commencement of the tenant.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as store operations and marketing to ensure successful store openings and renovations.
  • Manage ad-hoc operational issues and landlord related issues.
