  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

1. Job PurposeThe job-holder is responsible to assist the specialists in dental care delivery according to established hospital policies, procedures and standards of dental care and practices.2. Duties and Responsibilities2.1 Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)
  • · Responsible for providing four-handed chair-side assistance to specialists in dental treatment and procedures for various disciplines.
  • · Responsible for ensuring the instruments and materials are ready for each appointment, and ensure the proper maintenance of dental instruments.
  • · Comply with Infection Control and maintains Infection Control Standards.
  • · Comply with work safety regulations in handling of dental instruments and equipment.
  • · Assist in cleaning, sterilising, sorting and packing of instruments in general sterilisation area.
  • · Manage Inventory in assigned dental operatory and assist in stock ordering.
  • · Assist with patient's appointment.
  • · Collaborate and co-operate with clinicians and other health-care providers in the smooth delivery of dental care and services.
2.2 Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
  • · Participate in service quality activities.
  • · Coach and guide the junior staff in dental assisting (For Dental Surgery Assistant role)
  • · Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by Clinic Supervisor/ Clinic Manager.
3. Job Specification
  • · Minimum NITEC Certification in Dental Assisting or Equivalent Qualification (For Dental Surgery Assistant role)
  • · Minimum GCE “N” Level Certification
  • · Proficient in computer skills (MS Office).
  • · Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • · A team player and is also able to work independently.
  • · A hands-on person with eyes on details.
  • · Display compassion and have a positive and caring attitude.
