Job Description:
  • conduct applied research, using extensive application of both theoretical and psychological knowledge.
  • expected to be proficient in all aspects of the research process such as literature search, data collection, entry & management, statistical analysis, report writing and communication of findings etc.
  • expected to aid in the conceptualisation and conduct studies based on the agency’s research requirements.
  • handle all research-related administrative work, including liaison with different parties for meetings, preparing files & documents etc.
  • perform miscellaneous administrative duties from time to time as directed.
  • Draw on knowledge of psychology and behavioural sciences to support conceptualisation of and conduct applied research studies as required by the agency
  • Conduct literature reviews and write reports on research studies as required
  • Collect and analyse research data
  • Communicate research findings through presentations
  • Any other Ad-hoc duties
Job Requirement:
  • The ability to write clearly and concisely and the ability to make effective presentations (e.g. during meetings)
  • A Bachelor’s degree (with honours) from programme in psychology or Social Work is preferred
  • Preference for candidates who have completed a dissertation.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in psychology / related behavioural sciences is preferred.
  • Good writing, analytical and communication skills
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Basic understanding of statistics and proficiency in the use of statistical software.
  • Passion in contributing to the reintegration and rehabilitation sector.
  • Have passion to work with correctional stakeholders.
Work Arrangement
  • Contract Period: 12 months
  • Salary: $3380
  • Working hours: 8.15 am to 5.45 pm (Mon to Thur); 8.15 am to 5.15 pm (Fri)
