What the role is:You play a pivotal role in safeguarding Singapore's defence and security interests by ensuring the availability of aircraft and weapon systems parts to support the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) operation.What you will be working on:- Examine strategies to ensure Supply Chain resilience and strengthen capabilities - Lead Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Material Master Data (MMD) Codification and oversee system retirement planning - Drive supply chain analytics using business intelligence, operation research, statistics analysis and predictive modelling - Develop MMD governance framework to ensure data integrity - Manage material budget and prioritise purchases for critical requirements - Raise, train and sustain (RTS) Material Planners Challenge(s) - Achieving availability and operational readiness requirements within allocated material budget - Managing complex supply chain operations in increasingly complex environments - Developing and maintaining staff competencies - Coordinating with multiple agencies under tight timelinesWhat we are looking for:- At least 10 years work experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain and procurement operations and policies - Strong leadership qualities - Excellent analytical and planning abilities - Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written/oral) - Strategic thinking capability - Ability to translate strategic vision into executable policies and procedures Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About MINDEF:The mission of MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces is to enhance Singapore's peace and security through deterrence and diplomacy, and should these fail, to secure a swift and decisive victory over the aggressor.
