Job Description

Key Responsibilities

* As the Regional Finance Manager in Singapore, your responsibilities include approving sales order release, approving payments, approving supplier invoices, customer/vendor creation/amendment, approve agents commission and customers rebate.

* Monthly closing for these countries with respective Country Finance Leads.

* Review of monthly financials such as sales, gross margin and expenses.

* Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations such as bank and petty cash.

* Approval of monthly manual journal entries.

* Approval of debit and credit notes.

* Preparation of monthly APAC Management Meeting PowerPoint Slides.

* Approval and submission of withholding tax, goods and service Tax.

* Responsible for annual external audit and filing of corporate income tax computation.

* Responsible for annual budget exercise.

* Responsible for annual transfer pricing questionnaire exercise.

* Lead MES (Major Exporter Scheme) renewal every 5 years.

* Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

* Submission of annual and half-yearly Letter of Representation to Group.

* Liaison with internal stakeholders such as group treasury, internal audit, tax and compliance.

* Liaison with external stakeholders such as bankers, external auditor, tax agents and government statutory boards such as IRAS, EDB.

Education and Experience

* Minimum 5 years of relevant finance & accounting experience.

* Hands-on experience in corporate tax and payroll for Singapore.

* Knowledge of payroll and taxes for other APAC countries would be an added advantage.

* Experience with SAP system.

* CA, CPA or ACCA qualification is good to have.
