Job Description

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and vet accounting work including preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.

* Prepare weekly cash flows, quarterly GST filings, financial budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections for the company and funds.

* Liaise with external service providers, including advisors, tax agents, corporate secretaries and auditors.

* Maintain financial records and databases including fixed asset register, intercompany transactions, etc.

* Responsible for bank account management and bank account opening, and assisting with AML/KYC checks.

* Responsible for fund-related finance activities, including capital call planning, capital account statements, carried interest calculation etc.

* Responsible for calculation and payment of taxes, compliance reporting and statutory filings.

* Identify, formulate, propose and implement continuous process improvements and transformation in ensuring operational efficiency, cost effectiveness and internal controls.

* Support the processing of payments and claims.

* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, and provide support to regulatory, statutory and compliance requirements.

* Perform budgeting, forecasting and working on capital call matters for the business.

* Take on ad-hoc duties when necessary.

Education and Experience

* Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.

* Minimally 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the fund/asset management industry.

* Meticulous with strong problem-solving skills.

* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

* Professional and people oriented. Positive, collaborative and keen to learn.
