Overview:
The purpose of the role is to ensure Quality Control processes and policies are in place across our Manufacturing Operations as per PGCS requirements, by checking key process control points on daily basis and highlight/correct during deviations.
Responsible for day-to-day filling line quality management, Leading metrics data collection & reporting, defect analysis, issue resolution and continual improvements through collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality Teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive partnership with Operations on daily Filing line Quality management, defect analysis and resolution, product inspections, hold / release etc.
  • Measure key quality metrics and report to QC Engineer.
  • Manage and execute validation task as required and deliverables effectively
  • Timely support Issue troubleshooting and assist investigations if any RM, Packaging or product deviation/non-conformances and complaint
  • Participate walk down/Gemba walk at process line and provide feedback or escalate if any findings
  • Ensure compliance to Manufacturing Control Program Mandate
  • Support data compilation and report review such as SPC report
  • Perform physical inspection or rework if required
  • Train as back-up for key lab roles and rotate when needed.
  • Willing to stretch and take additional responsibilities when needed
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Science, Food Technology or any other related discipline
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Quality/Mfg. role, ideally in manufacturing plant.
  • Basic knowledge with food safety quality standards - HACCP and FSSC 22K
  • Experience in SAP – QM module an advantage
  • Batching and filling lines basic Process knowledge – an advantage
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in high-pressure work environment
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written with ability to clearly articulate ideas and proposals to all levels of the organization
  • Strong leadership presence, ability to manage and co-ordinate with cross-functional teams on investigation analysis, troubleshooting and issues resolution
  • Positive attitude/team player
  • Work well under pressure
