Job Scope & Responsibilities – Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution & Coordination
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of LSS (Life Safety System) gas detectors in semiconductor facilities.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for project progress and issue resolution.
  • Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Responsibilities
  • Design, install, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems related to gas detection.
  • Ensure correct wiring, grounding, and integration of gas detection sensors, alarms, and control panels.
  • Conduct loop checks, functional testing, and calibration of instruments.
  • Technical Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Maintain project documentation, including material submittals, method statements, and test reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance Support
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in gas detection systems and related instrumentation.
  • Provide support for maintenance teams to ensure system reliability.
  • Safety & Risk Management
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis for gas detection installations.
  • Ensure adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) standards in all project activities.
  • Commissioning & Handover
  • Perform site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning procedures, and final system handover to clients.
  • Provide training to end-users on system operation and maintenance.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or relevant engineering field.
  • Experience in Semicon projects, LSS, or gas detection systems preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of E&I installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
  • Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, and control system integration is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,300.00 - $3,000.00 per month
