Job Scope & Responsibilities – Project Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Execution & Coordination
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of LSS (Life Safety System) gas detectors in semiconductor facilities.
- Ensure project deliverables meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for project progress and issue resolution.
- Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Responsibilities
- Design, install, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems related to gas detection.
- Ensure correct wiring, grounding, and integration of gas detection sensors, alarms, and control panels.
- Conduct loop checks, functional testing, and calibration of instruments.
- Technical Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and review technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Maintain project documentation, including material submittals, method statements, and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and industry standards.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance Support
- Identify and resolve technical issues in gas detection systems and related instrumentation.
- Provide support for maintenance teams to ensure system reliability.
- Safety & Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis for gas detection installations.
- Ensure adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) standards in all project activities.
- Commissioning & Handover
- Perform site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning procedures, and final system handover to clients.
- Provide training to end-users on system operation and maintenance.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or relevant engineering field.
- Experience in Semicon projects, LSS, or gas detection systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of E&I installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, and control system integration is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $2,300.00 - $3,000.00 per month
