About Us:
iWorld Learning is a leading language education centre dedicated to helping students of all ages achieve their English proficiency goals. We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Freelance ESL Tutors to teach young learners and prepare them for various English proficiency and school entrance exams, including KET, PET, AEIS, IGCSE, IELTS, and other academic assessments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and effective lessons for young learners to improve their English skills, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Train students for standardized tests such as KET, PET, AEIS, IGCSE, IELTS, and other entrance exams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and strategies.
  • Assess students' strengths and weaknesses, creating customized lesson plans to address individual learning needs.
  • Use a variety of teaching materials, including digital resources, worksheets, and real-life scenarios, to keep students engaged and motivated.
  • Track and evaluate students' performance, providing regular feedback to both students and parents.
  • Conduct lessons based on agreed schedules, ensuring timely and professional delivery of sessions.
  • Maintain regular communication with sales to update them on the kid’s progress and provide recommendations for improvement so that they can convey to the parents.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certification.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching ESL to children.
  • Proven track record of preparing students for KET, PET, AEIS, IGCSE, IELTS, or similar exams.
  • Experience with school entrance exam preparation is a plus.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong ability to engage and interact with children in a fun and effective manner.
  • Familiarity with exam structures, assessment criteria, and test-taking strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
  • Reliable, patient, and passionate about education.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to conduct both online and in-person lessons is preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital teaching tools such as Zoom, Google Classroom, and online learning platforms.

  • (Kids Group Class) Mon, Wed or Mon, Thu: [1630 - 1800], [1630 - 1830]
  • (Kids Group Class) Tues, Thur or Tues, Fri: [1630 - 1800], [1630 - 1830]
  • Saturdays: 10am - 6pm

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
