Based in Singapore, he/she will be part of a growing legal team supporting SHAREit's corporate governance.
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented, hard-working company secretary to support SHAREit's corporate legal team. This person will work closely with our lawyers, as well as business and operation teams for SHAREit. Since SHAREit operates in a highly regulated environment, this person will also work closely with external lawyers and other professionals in managing company secretarial work.
The ideal candidate will be a confident self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to effectively and proactively exercise good judgment and partner with the business in a fast paced environment. Manage a portfolio of group companies in various jurisdictions to handle corporate governance and company secretarial matters.
Responsibilities:
Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
Prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs) and follow up on action points.
Liaise with external advisers such as lawyers and auditors.
Qualifications
2-5 years company secretary experience in a leading international company, law firm or secretary company
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Detail-oriented and motivated, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese
